“Delighted to announce the launch of our inaugural Cardio-Oncology Nursing Webinar Series in collaboration with the international cardio- oncology society(IC-OS) and the Irish Association of Nurses in Oncology (IANO) .
This series aims to equip nursing professionals with cutting-edge knowledge on managing cardiovascular complications in cancer care.
The series kicked off last night with an expert presentation by Professor Gerry Lee, Professor of Nursing and Chair of Health Service Research at the School of Nursing & Midwifery and Vice Dean of Postgraduate Education, at University College Cork (UCC). Cardio-oncology addresses the critical intersection of cancer treatments and heart health.
Future plans include quarterly webinars where professionals can share case studies, discuss real-world challenges, and learn from peers to advance cardio-oncology nursing practice.”
