Ibrahim Halil Sahin, Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Michigan Medical School, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“I am humbled to share that I have recently been promoted to Associate Professor of Medicine. This journey has been filled with challenges and a lot of growth and support from my mentors, colleagues from academia, my patients, friends from patient advocacy and industry, and, of course, my family, to all of whom I am so grateful.
I am also thrilled to share that I recently joined the University of Michigan Rogel Comprehensive Cancer Center, and I am truly excited and looking forward to contributing to clinical, scientific, and teaching efforts at the University of Michigan in the space of gastrointestinal cancer, where my focus of research will remain colorectal cancer. I would also like to thank my division at UPMC for their support during my time in Pittsburgh, and a special thank you to Dr. Stanley Marks and Dr. Anne Lennon for their immense support.”
