“Strengthening Communication and Dissemination in iBeCHANGE
Clear communication and targeted dissemination play a critical role in ensuring that research findings translate into real-world impact. Within iBeCHANGE, activities are designed to both raise awareness and share knowledge effectively across diverse audiences.
Communication efforts focus on increasing visibility and understanding of the project’s objectives, progress, and relevance among the public, patient communities, media, and key stakeholders. In parallel, dissemination activities ensure that concrete outputs and insights reach those who can apply them – including researchers, clinicians, healthcare professionals, and policymakers.
These activities span a wide range of formats, from meetings and workshops to conferences, digital outreach, scientific exchanges, and cross-project collaboration. Together, they support meaningful engagement across disciplines and levels, helping to bridge the research, policy, and practice gaps in cancer prevention.
By combining strategic communication with structured dissemination, iBeCHANGE aims to ensure that evidence on modifiable lifestyle and psychosocial risk factors is shared widely – and used where it can make the greatest difference.”
