The 2025 Journal Impact Factors Highlight the Growing Influence of IASLC’s Publications

International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC) shared a post on LinkedIn:

“A milestone worth celebrating. The 2025 Journal Impact Factors highlight the growing influence of IASLC’s publications and the global thoracic oncology community that makes them possible. Journal of Thoracic Oncology (JTO) earned an Impact Factor of 23.3, ranking  number 3 in Respiratory System and  number 15 in Oncology among hundreds of journals worldwide. JTO Clinical and Research Reports (JTO CRR) increased its Impact Factor to 3.6, continuing its trajectory as an important platform for high-quality thoracic oncology research.

These achievements reflect the collective efforts of researchers, clinicians, authors, reviewers, editors, and readers around the world. We are especially grateful to the scientific community whose contributions and citations help amplify the impact of the research published in our journals and advance progress for patients with thoracic cancers.

As we celebrate these accomplishments, we also look forward to marking the 20th Anniversary of JTO at WCLC26 in Seoul this September. Join us as we recognize two decades of scientific excellence and the global community that continues to shape the future of thoracic oncology.”
