IARC/WHO (International Agency for Research on Cancer/World Health Organization) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“IARC and partners studying tattoo-cancer link find no association between simply having tattoo and developing skin cancer.
Preliminary finding (based on very few cases-interpret with caution) those with the largest area of skin tattooed had lower skin cancer risk, compared with those with no tattoos.
