IARC/WHO (International Agency for Research on Cancer/World Health Organization) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“The RESET-Gulf project is enhancing cancer screening quality across the GCC. Following successful country-level trainings in the UAE, Bahrain, and Oman, IARC recently conducted a situational analysis in Kuwait, offering hands-on training led by last year’s certified master trainers.
This initiative focuses on building sustainable capacity by:
- Certifying national master trainers
- Strengthening early detection programs
- Establishing the Gulf CDC as the regional hub for cancer screening training.
Together, we are working towards stronger cancer control systems and better health outcomes for populations in the Gulf region.”
