“Congratulations to the Working Group and IARC secretariat for their tremendous efforts in publishing IARC Monographs Volume 138 on the carcinogenicity of automotive gasoline and five oxygenated gasoline additives.
Automotive gasoline was classified in Group 1; Methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE) and Ethyl tert-butyl ether (ETBE) were each classified in Group 2B; and tert-Butyl alcohol (TBA), Diisopropyl ether (DIPE), and tert-Amyl methyl ether (TAME) were each classified in Group 3. Volume 138 is available for free download on the IARC website.”
