” The IARC Initiative for Resilience in Cancer Control (IRCC) welcomed two guest speakers to IARC for a seminar on ‘Health system resilience and cancer control: from analytical frameworks to real-world applications.’
Prof. Alessandro Jatobá (ResiliSUS Fiocruz/CEE, Fundação Oswaldo Cruz (Fiocruz)) and Dr Marco Antonio Catussi Paschoalotto (Universidade do Minho) shared perspectives on how analytical frameworks for health system resilience translate into real-world cancer control.
The IRCC team then hosted a workshop to shape a collaborative work plan on resilience in cancer control.
This was the first joint event following the Memorandum of Understanding signed between IARC and Fundação Oswaldo Cruz, marking an exciting step in this international partnership.”
