Global Oncology Experts Confront Precision Care Challenges at ASCO 2026 – IAPM

From Geneva to Chicago, the conversation continues.

In just two days, the International Alliance for Personalised Medicine (IAPM) arrives at ASCO 2026 for a full day dedicated to one of the biggest challenges in healthcare today: how do we move precision oncology from breakthrough science to real-world delivery?

We’ll start the day with our Hackathon, organised in collaboration with Precision Medicine Action for Cancer (PMAC), bringing together clinicians, innovators and researchers (including Nicola Fusco, Massimo Cristofanilli, Lorenzo Gerratana, Sana Al Sukhun, Antonio Marra and many other international experts) to work on practical solutions around implementation, diagnostics, data and personalised care pathways.

Then, from 17:00 to 18:30, we will officially launch the IAPM Oncology Pillar during our high-level event: “The Last Mile: From Precision Oncology Breakthroughs to Real-World Delivery

The discussion will bring together global leaders across oncology, policy, diagnostics, patient advocacy, industry and research to focus on one central question:

How do we make precision oncology routine, scalable and equitable for every eligible patient?

Because today, precision oncology is no longer held back only by science. Increasingly, it is held back by delivery.

Testing, interpretation, reimbursement, data infrastructure, clinical trial access and pathway readiness must advance together if innovation is truly going to reach patients.

We are very excited to continue this journey in Chicago together with an incredible group of speakers and partners from across the world.
