Humaid Al-Shamsi, The Chairman of Nexomic, CEO of Burjeel Cancer Institute (BCI) Comprehensive Cancer Center, shared on X:
“At the ESMO conference, Dr. George Tetz presented the first results in humans for a novel immune T-cell therapy – the first of its kind-for patients with advanced solid tumors who have exhausted or nearly exhausted their treatment options.
The response was remarkable, with some patients achieving a complete response, opening the door to new hope for these patients.
Very important note: The study involved only 10 patients, and the treatment is still in the study phase and not yet approved.”
