“Today we successfully conducted our 2nd Hope Beyond Lynch Patient Support group meeting.
What started as a 20-30 minute support group turned into an inspiring 1+ hour conversation.
That, to us, is the true success of Hope Beyond Lynch.
Our 2nd Hope Beyond Lynch Monthly Meeting was filled with meaningful discussions, thoughtful questions, shared experiences, and genuine support from patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals across India.
One of the most touching moments was welcoming a Lynch Syndrome cancer survivor from Mumbai, who reached out to us after discovering our support group on LinkedIn. Stories like these remind us why this community matters.
A heartfelt thanks to Prof. Rajiv Sarin for his inspiring vision, unwavering mentorship, and invaluable insights on hereditary cancer care.
Thank you Dr. Akhil Kapoor Akhil Kapoor for simplifying the evidence behind aspirin in Lynch Syndrome and helping patients make informed decisions.
A special thanks to Alisha Karim , Psycho-Oncologist, for addressing the emotional and psychological challenges that individuals and families experience while navigating Lynch Syndrome with such empathy and compassion.
Special thanks to our Cancer Genetics team at MPMMCC Varanasi, Srushti Uthale, Dr. Archi Rungta, Anjana Anoop for excellent and smooth moderation of the session.
Thanks to our patient navigator ANURAG PATEL Mr. Anurag Patel for helping patients connect to the meeting and providing them information about joining the session.
Most importantly, thank you to every patient, caregiver, clinician, and genetic counselor who joined us, asked questions, shared experiences, and made this session so interactive. Your participation is what transforms Hope Beyond Lynch from a meeting into a community.
This is just the beginning.
Together, we are building India’s first nationwide support community for individuals and families affected by Lynch Syndrome – one conversation, one family, and one step at a time.
Together, we are stronger than Lynch Syndrome.”
