“MSK Radiation Oncology is recruiting a Director, Metastatic Disease Team!
Join Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in a leadership role that combines exceptional patient care, innovative research, and faculty mentorship – with a focus on improving outcomes for patients with metastatic cancer across primary tumor types.
- Lead an established team of approximately 20 faculty across disease sites, overseeing clinical and research programs and mentoring investigators.
- Approximately 50% dedicated research time, depending on faculty track, with flexibility to conduct research across MSK facilities.
- Develop practice-changing research through clinical trials, Phase I radiation combination studies, translational science, patient-reported outcomes, and health services research.
- Shape metastatic radiation care across MSK, advancing network-wide guidelines and the appropriate use of SBRT, SRS, and other radiation approaches.
- Co-lead a multidisciplinary bone metastases clinic, collaborating with surgery, medical oncology, pain management, supportive care, and early drug development teams.
- Improve access and quality, addressing disparities and barriers to appropriate care.
You’ll join a Radiation Oncology department with 65 faculty members, treating approximately 14,500 patients across seven locations.
