“My Bob Kyle story: When I was a fellow in Heidelberg and visiting C. Ola Landgren, at the NIH he brought me to my first IMWG meeting (thank you so much for that btw. Ola). Walking from one session to the next Bob and I were the last to leave and even though he never had met me before he started a conversation and asked me about my research and gave me advice while (literally) eating popcorn. He didn’t have to do that but his kindness and humility were some of his many exceptional qualities.
Rest in peace Bob and thank you for everything.”
