The discussions reaffirmed the importance of prevention and early detection as the foundation of effective cancer control, and I am proud that the Egyptian experience is being recognized as a global model. We reviewed key performance indicators since 2019, alongside efforts to strengthen coordination, institutional efficiency, and evidence-based decision-making.
Encouraging conversations also took place around innovation, including the use of AI in mammography and radiotherapy, digital pathology, and continuous training of healthcare professionals to ensure sustainability and evolving care for women across Egypt.”
