“Its this time of the year when masterminds of oncology come together.
Honored and truly delighted to have been invited as Chair person for the Precision Oncology and Women’s Health session at the International School of Clinical Oncology (ISCO) Conference.
It was a privilege to join the scientific panel of such a dynamic session and engage with a community of outstanding clinicians and researchers shaping the future of oncology.
I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to my dearest Prof. Hamdy Abdelazeem, Prof. Emad Shash and Prof. Javier Cortes for their exceptional and insightful lectures. Their contributions highlighted cutting-edge advances and practical perspectives that are highly impactful for both clinical practice and research in breast and endometrial cancers. Grateful to Session Head: Prof. Ahmed Magdy Rabea and the conference president Prof. Tamer El-Nahas for this honorable invitation.
I also thoroughly enjoyed the breast cancer workshop delivered by Gustave Roussy International – Egypt . It was an enriching experience that deepened key aspects of precision oncology in breast cancer management. The discussions were particularly stimulating, bringing together brilliant minds including Prof. Naglaa Abdel Razek whom I learned ALOT from her incredible experience and knowledge, with an outstanding and fruitful discussions between Prof. Ahmad Morsy, and Prof. Ahmed Hassan AbdelAziz. We explored critical and nuanced topics such as distinguishing multicentric versus multifocal disease, determining when to utilize MRI versus PET imaging, and refining surgical decision-making – especially around indications for mastectomy and the necessary precautions.
Such a pride to have a hub of oncology like ISCO Conference in Egypt.”
