“Last week, I had the immense privilege of attending the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer (SITC) 8th Annual Women in Cancer Immunotherapy Network (WIN) Leadership Institute.
I was honoured to be selected for this program, which brings together emerging female leaders in cancer immunotherapy for two days of professional development, reflection, and networking.

The sessions were both thought-provoking and empowering, and I particularly valued the opportunity to discuss personal experiences, career goals, and challenges with the incredibly supportive and inspiring faculty.
Their openness, honesty, and willingness to share lessons learned from their own leadership journeys created a truly encouraging environment.
Another highlight was the keynote address from Dr. Jennifer Grandis, who discussed the research behind her book ‘Harsh Medicine: Why Women Can’t Get Ahead in Science and Health Care’.
I leave the program energised, inspired, and equipped with practical tools and perspectives that I look forward to applying.
