Harpreet Singh, Chief Medical Officer of Precision for Medicine, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“One question I get often is why I left FDA when I did, and – what are my guiding principles for drug development?
The simple answer is that I love Biotech!
I had a wonderful career at FDA and was fortunate to be part of many important approvals, but I have always had a deep respect for biotech and their willingness to take on some of the hardest problems in drug development.
What drew me to Precision For Medicine was the chance to directly support biotech teams. The company’s focus on oncology, rare disease, autoimmune disease, and biomarker-driven development aligned with where I wanted to be, guiding innovative programs with strong clinical development and regulatory strategy, and a steady hand to move promising therapies forward.
In this short video from our DIA China reception in Shanghai, I share my three guiding principles for starting a biotech.
I’m thrilled to continue supporting teams as they navigate the clinical and regulatory decisions that bring novel therapies closer to patients..”
