Harish Nagaraj: A Powerful Reminder of What Theranostics Can Truly Achieve

” ‘World Theranostics Day’ – Transforming Outcomes, One Patient at a Time

A powerful reminder of what theranostics can truly achieve.

A patient with advanced prostate cancer presented with a PSA of 434 ng/mL, seeking alternative treatment options after conventional therapy not helping and with significantly reduced mobility. Following just two cycles of Lutetium-177 PSMA therapy, his PSA dropped dramatically to a nadir of 3.4 ng/mL, achieving clinical remission.

Beyond the numbers, the transformation was life-changing as he regained mobility, returned to working on his farm, and is once again enjoying time playing with his grandchildren.

Stories like this underscore that expanding access to theranostics is not merely important but it is imperative.

This remarkable response highlights the true potential of precision oncology, where targeted molecular imaging and therapy converge to deliver meaningful outcomes, even in advanced disease.”
