Han Chong Toh: Raising Funds for Childhood Cancer at Row For Hope 2025

Han Chong Toh, Deputy Chief Executive Officer at National Cancer Centre Singapore, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Brilliant blue skies at Row For Hope 2025 as we from National Cancer Centre Singapore and Singapore Rowing Association partnered The Oxford and Cambridge Society of Singapore who led the event to raise money for Children’s Cancer Foundation (CCF).

The RFH gala dinner at the spectacular Gardens by the Bay was a blast. Wore the springbok hat as mc as a shout out to our transformational south african national rowing coach Jake Green and our Singapore Rowing Association honorary advisor south african rowing olympic gold medallist Matthew Brittain, CFA.

CCF board member Tsung Wen Chong gave an emotional heartfelt speech quoting the founder of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital danny thomas:

“No child should die at the dawn of life.’ And added that no child should be turned away from cancer treatment because of cost.”

Today, over 85% of all childhood cancers can be cured. so great to have the cancer survivors’ dragon boat team purple dragons from Singapore Cancer Society race and attend the dinner.”
