Hafsa Elmarrachi, Ph.D. Researcher at Mohammed VI University of Health Sciences, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“I am deeply proud to have participated in the 2nd edition of the International Congress of the Moroccan Cancer Research Society (MCRS 2026) in Rabat—an experience that continues to shape my journey in oncology research.
Being part of both editions of this congress is more than a milestone for me it reflects a strong and ongoing commitment to advancing cancer research and contributing to meaningful scientific impact.
This international congress, organized in collaboration with Cedars-Sinai (USA), the Research Center in Rabat, Moulay Ismail University in Meknes, truly highlighted the power of global collaboration in driving innovation and improving patient care.
I also had the great honor of attending insightful sessions led by distinguished experts, including Professor Azzedine El Midaoui, Professor Stephen J. Pandol, Professor Paul Moss, and Professor John Neoptolemos, whose contributions and expertise were truly inspiring.
Beyond the science, what stood out the most was the passion, the exchange of ideas, and the shared vision among researchers and clinicians working toward a better future in cancer care. My sincere appreciation goes to the organizing and scientific committees, as well as all the speakers.
A special dedication to Mr. Lhoussain Hajji and Mr. Mouad Edderkaoui Congress Coordinators, Mr. Issam Arrouss from the organizing committee, Fouzia Z., my supervisor Mr Nabil Ismaili for his continuous support, guidance, and belief in me and in our work, as well as to Université Mohammed VI des Sciences et de la Santé – UM6SS for providing an environment that fosters learning and research excellence.
Moments like these remind me why we do what we do.”
