“Honored to participate in the Second World Summit for Social Development, held at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) in Doha, November 2025.
It was a privilege to contribute to discussions and solution panels, sharing insights on the role of digital transformation and AI in achieving the Sustainable and Social Development Goals – from the challenges of community-level implementation to the opportunities for scalable impact across industries.
As a representative of MAHAK, which has successfully supported children with cancer and their families for over three decades in the region, I highlighted the organization’s belief that “Justice in Health is Social Justice.” Through the integration of free, high-quality treatment with social and economic support, we can prevent poverty as well as social isolation, fostering a powerful synergy between health and social responsibility.
I also highlighted how emerging MedTech and BioTech ecosystems can serve as adaptable models to strengthen health and social systems in low- and middle-income countries-leveraging government support and private sector collaboration to drive sustainable innovation.
It was an inspiring three days of collaboration and interaction among 8,000+ participants, including global leaders, policymakers, and changemakers-all united by one clear message:
‘Social and sustainable development begins with people-ensuring equitable access to opportunities, social protection, and healthcare for all.’ ”
