“The upcoming International Society of Paediatric Oncology congress in San Antonio Texas is just around the corner. In less than 2 months, we will be there sharing experiences, learning about the cutting-edge advances in our specialty, interacting with partners around the world and, as always feeling this sense of purpose and family that makes it possible to meet a world expert, have a coffee and start a partnership.
This time, it also includes for the first time a Latin American Society of Pediatric Oncology (SLAOP) and SIOP North America meeting. Personally, coming to a SIOP congress for the first time was a career-defining experience. And after 31 years of my first one in Montevideo, it still as impactful as my first one.
I know it is not easy to come, but it worths the effort. This will be another great SIOP congress and you can’t miss it, either in person or online you are always welcome to SIOP.”
