“ESMO 2026 was especially meaningful to me as it marked the completion of the ESMO Leadership Programme 2025–2026.
Over the past year, I learned a great deal about leadership, communication, and teamwork. I also learned from the people around me: I had the chance to connect with colleagues from every continent, gain insight into different realities, and build friendships I hope will last a lifetime.
I am grateful to ESMO – European Society for Medical Oncology for his opportunity, which has contributed so much to my personal and professional growth. Special thanks to Francesca, Milena Marzano and Terri Creeden for such a great program!
I also leave with a strong sense of accomplishment and great pride in the Young Oncologists Committee (YOC) programme we put together for this year’s Congress. It was a collective effort, and I am glad to have seen the sessions so well attended, received such positive feedback, and delivered valuable content.”
