“This year I traveled to El Salvador and Guatemala with The Max Foundation, and the experience changed me in ways I’m still processing. I met patients who are confronting cancer with a kind of courage that stays with you long after you leave.
I saw the impact of generosity – real, tangible impact.
A donated treatment isn’t just medicine. It’s a parent getting more time with their children. It’s a young adult imagining a future again. It’s hope showing up in places where hope is often in short supply. These patients are receiving lifesaving medicines only because organizations like Max exist and because the people who donate to them choose to care.
To everyone who supported my campaign earlier this year: thank you. Your kindness is part of these stories. You’ve helped make room for healing where it’s desperately needed.
