Goodluck Nchasi: Important Step Toward More Supportive, Patient-Centered Care

Goodluck Nchasi, MSc Global Health student at Karolinska Institutet, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Behind every child battling a brain tumor is a network of resilient caregivers.

I am glad to attend the Society of Neuro-Oncology in Sub-Saharan Africa (SNOSSA 2026) Conference, and present our project titled, ‘Caregivers’ Perspectives on Peer Support for Children with Brain Tumors at Bugando Medical Centre, Tanzania.’

Peer support can be a lifeline for families navigating this difficult journey. Discussing these insights with the African neuro-oncology community is an important step toward more supportive, patient-centered care.”
