“Throwback to The Hague – eight years ago.
As a lawyer in 2018, I had the opportunity to participate in several public hearings at the International Court of Justice, the principal judicial organ of the United Nations.
Being present in that setting reinforced my understanding of how international law operates beyond academic theory, through institutions, procedures, and decisions that shape relations between States and impact people’s lives.
Experiences like this helped define my professional path at the intersection of law, public policy, and multilateral cooperation, always with a focus on advancing institutional solutions and protecting the most vulnerable.
Eight years later, I continue walking the same path. Now with greater responsibility, deeper institutional experience, and the conviction that law remains one of the most powerful tools to drive structural change at national and global levels.”
