Since my appointment to the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) Board of Directors in 2020, and as we do every year, the Latin America region has been organizing to mark World Cancer Day 2026 through concrete actions and meaningful impact.
These efforts will be closely aligned with the relaunch of the World Cancer Declaration, led by our President, Ulrika Årehed Kågström, as a shared global framework for the next decade.
