International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) / World Health Organization shared a post on LinkedIn:
“The WHO Eastern Mediterranean Region (WHO Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean) is expected to see a huge percentage increase in cancer incidence by 2050, with the latest hashtag GLOBOCAN estimates projecting the number of cases to more than double, rising by 110% compared with 2024 cases.
