Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“The World Health Organization hosted two major global tobacco control meetings in Geneva, marking 20 years of the WHO FCTC, a milestone for global tobacco control.
Government officials from 162 countries, technical experts, civil society, advocates, and UICC members gathered from 17–26 November 2025 for COP11 and MOP4.
UICC was proud to bring together a delegation of member organisations from across regions, united in advancing cancer prevention through strong tobacco control policies, including:
- Breast Care International – Ghana
- Canadian Cancer Society
- Cancer Survivors Malaysia
- Kræftens Bekæmpelse (Danish Cancer Society)
- International Institute For Legislative Affairs
- Kreftforeningen (Norwegian Cancer Society)
It was great to connect and align with partners such as the McCabe Centre for Law & Cancer, International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (The Union) NCD Alliance, and many others committed to driving progress through stronger laws, sustainable funding, and action against industry interference.
