Dr. Strickler is a Professor at Duke University, where he serves as Co-Leader for the Precision Cancer Medicine and Investigational Therapeutics Program, Leader of the Molecular Tumor Board, and Associate Director of Clinical Research in GI Oncology.
His research focuses on identifying biomarkers that predict response to targeted therapies and immunotherapy. He was principal investigator on the trial that led to the first FDA-approved therapy for HER2-positive metastatic colorectal cancer, and has authored more than 250 articles in journals including the New England Journal of Medicine, the Journal of Clinical Oncology, and Lancet Oncology.
