“At ASCO, we posed a scenario to attendees: your doctor can start treatment today, or you can wait 1 to 3 weeks for biomarker testing that tells them which treatment will work for your specific cancer. What would you do?
Every person said they would wait.
The data tells a different story. More than 60% of colorectal cancer patients start treatment before their biomarker results arrive. That gap between intention and reality is what GCCA‘s Knowing Is Worth the Wait campaign is working to close.”
