“Applications are now open for the third cohort of countries to join the Global Platform for Access to Childhood Cancer Medicines.
The Platform supports countries in strengthening access to essential childhood cancer medicines through evidence generation, policy dialogue, and integration into national health financing and procurement systems.
Interested countries are invited to submit their applications by 9 September 2026.

“Applications are now open for the 2026 cohort of the Global Platform for Access to Childhood Cancer Medicines, and countries are invited to learn more during an upcoming webinar on June 24.
Launched by St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in partnership with World Health Organization (WHO), the Global Platform supports countries in strengthening health systems and improving access to essential, quality-assured childhood cancer medicines.
As reported by the Global Platform in June 2026, this effort has already supported treatment for more than 4,000 children across multiple countries, with additional nations preparing to begin receiving medicines this year.
This webinar will provide an overview of the application process, including eligibility criteria, selection considerations and timelines. Attendees will also hear from participating countries and learn how the Global Platform is advancing access to care while supporting long-term system improvements.
