“Today I had the pleasure and the honor to participate in the Italian 9th Lung Cancer Congress organised in beautiful Bari, by the legendary host Domenico Galetta .
Among esteemed Italian colleagues and experts from around the world I had the opportunity to present the little ‘diamonds’ of thoracic oncology, the rare but precious genetic alterations that have the potential to transform the prognosis of our patients and literally change their lives, provided that they are identified early and treated accordingly.
A huge thank you to all organisers for the kind hospitality, the brainstorming but most importantly the warm atmosphere of the Italian colleagues and the people in the charming Mediterranean port of Bari.”
