The answer is yes.
In recent years, research has profoundly changed the way we deal with breast cancer. Today we can count on more accurate diagnostic tools, increasingly effective therapies and personalized treatments, built on the biological characteristics of the disease and the individual patient.
For this reason, the moment of diagnosis has also changed.
It remains a delicate moment, but today we can accompany it with a different message: not just a diagnosis, but a personalized treatment pathway, defined by a multidisciplinary team and based on the most solid scientific evidence.
In this video, I tell how research has changed not only the possibilities of treatment, but also the way we can look to the future together with our patients.
