Ghada Emam, Deputy Director of Breast Cancer Comprehensive Center for Clinics and Director of Pharmacy Services at Breast Cancer Hospital-National Cancer Institute, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“What an incredible experience at the very first ESMO AI and Digital Oncology Congress 2025.
Being part of the first-ever ESMO AI and Digital Oncology meeting (12-14 November in Berlin) was truly special. This inaugural edition brought together inspiring minds, innovative ideas, and a powerful vision of how AI will shape the future of oncology.
During the congress, I had the opportunity to present two posters highlighting our digital transformation work at the Breast Cancer Center:
- FPN 307P
Impact of Public Partnerships Digital Booking System on Workload Balance in a High-Volume Breast Cancer Center (Pre-Post Operational Study).
- FPN 396P
Mapping the AI Readiness Gap in Oncology Staff using the MAIRS-MS Scale.
The discussions, the feedback, and the energy across sessions reflected just how essential AI, digital readiness, and operational innovation have become in modern oncology practice.
Grateful to my mentors, Dr. Emad Shash and Dr. Reem Eid, for their continuous guidance, and to my wonderful colleagues for their support and collaboration throughout this journey.
Special thanks to: Fatma Bektash, Zeinab Abdelwhab, Rania Al Najar, Dalia Abdelmonem, Rania Mahmoud, Mona Elhosary, for being part of this work and for their valuable contribution to both projects.”
