“These days at the International Society of Paediatric Oncology – SIOP Annual Congress, I want to share one graph, which made me very happy.
Asia is now SIOP’s largest regional base – 42% of all active members, up from 31% in 2025.
A huge thank you to our SIOP Asia Ambassadors across the continent who have been pushing the borders and making this happen.
Within last year together with SIOP Asia Executive Board and SIOP Central Office we were able to involve around 45 Ambassadors across Asia.
And, of course, thank you to the SIOP Central Office, leadership, and everyone behind this growth.
The best is yet to come. For every child with cancer, EVERYWHERE.”
