Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“In Mexico, Fundación CIMA, a UICC member, is supporting people with breast cancer through a people-centred approach to care.
From counselling led by psycho-oncologists for patients, families and caregivers, to the donation of around 600 postoperative supplies each year, their work supports both emotional and physical recovery.
Through community programs, they also raise awareness about early detection and provide training to doctors and healthcare workers in underserved communities across the country.
These efforts are improving access to care and helping more people receive timely diagnosis and support.”
