Fredrik Schjesvold, Head of Oslo Myeloma Center at Oslo University Hospital (RH), shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Dear all, collaborators from all hospitals in Norway, the scientific community of myeloma, the pharma industry, the hospital leaders, and supporting facilities at the Oslo University Hospital, but most of all the patients and families, and the fantastic people who have and continue to work hard at the Oslo Myeloma Center.
Last week, we enrolled our 1000th patient in a myeloma trial, in the 67th trial we have enrolled in since 2015, with an average of 15 patients per trial. 44 of the trials have come from the industry, and 23 of the trials are academic. 131 patients have been enrolled in phase-1 trials.
Looking forward to the next 1000th, hopefully and probably faster than the previous.”
