Frank Nkhwazi Begins MSc in Cancer Biology and Precision Oncology at the University of Edinburgh

Frank Nkhwazi, Histotechnologist, Cancer Registrar, Cancer Researcher at International Blantyre Cancer Center, shared a post on LinkedIn:

Thrilled to Share a Milestone in My Journey.

I am delighted to announce that I have received an offer of admission to pursue the MSc in Cancer Biology and Precision Oncology (Online Learning) at the University of Edinburgh, College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine.

This three-year, part-time program will allow me to deepen my expertise in cancer biology while continuing my work in advancing cancer diagnostics, registry systems, and evidence-based advocacy here in Malawi and beyond.

The opportunity to learn from world-class faculty and to engage with cutting-edge research in precision oncology, is both humbling and energizing. It aligns perfectly with my long-term vision: building sustainable cancer surveillance and funding systems that can transform outcomes for patients across the globe.

I am grateful to everyone who has supported my journey so far-family, colleagues, mentors, and partners in advocacy. This next chapter is not just about personal growth, but about strengthening the collective fight against cancer.”
