The preliminary programme already reflects the scope of the discussion, combining personal testimonies, legal and human rights perspectives, and practical insights from countries at different stages of implementing the Right to Be Forgotten.
The programme will feature:
- First-hand testimony from cancer survivors on the continuing impact of discrimination in access to mortgages, insurance, employment and everyday life
- National perspectives on the adoption and implementation of the Right To Be Forgotten for cancer survivors
- A dedicated legal discussion on recognising the Right To Be Forgotten as an issue of equality, non-discrimination and human rights
- Examples of best practices from countries that have already translated this principles into concrete protections
