Florian Lordick, Oncologist, Professor of Medicine at the University of Leipzig, Head of Medical Oncology, Director of the Comprehensive Cancer Center Central Germany, shared a post by European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO), adding:
“Today the 2026 ESMO elections officially open. Voting will remain open until 1 June.
For all eligible members of the ESMO community, this is an important opportunity to help shape the future direction of our society — across science, education, equity, innovation, multidisciplinary collaboration, and patient-centred cancer care.
ESMO has become one of the strongest global voices in oncology because of the engagement, diversity, and expertise of its members across Europe and worldwide. Participating in the election process is part of strengthening this shared community.
Wishing all of us a fair and inspiring election period — and encouraging colleagues and friends across the oncology community to make their voices heard.”
