Fight Colorectal Cancer (Fight CRC) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“For years, advocates have pushed Congress to strengthen the CDC’s Colorectal Cancer Control Program, which expands access to colorectal cancer screening and prevention services across the country.
Last year, the program grew from 35 to 38 states. But without additional funding, that expansion meant resources were stretched even further.
This week, the House Appropriations Committee proposed a $2 million increase for the program.
It’s not a final funding victory. But it’s an important step forward and a reminder that advocacy can move the needle. We’ll keep pushing until this investment in CRC screening and prevention reaches the finish line.”
