Fawzi Abu Rous, Medical Oncologist at Henry Ford Health, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Just returned from Muscat after an inspiring few days at the World Cancer Congress Summit and Exhibition 2025 — where I had the honor of representing Henry Ford Health alongside a fantastic group of oncology leaders in MENA.
I presented on the management of EGFR-mutated NSCLC, sharing our experience with targeted therapies in all stages of the disease.
I also joined a powerful panel titled: ‘Educating for Empowerment: Communication and Patient Navigation in Cancer Care’ — hosted by International Cancer Patient Coalition to discuss optimal ways to educate patients in a culturally appropriate manner.
What made this experience truly special? The people. I connected with passionate professionals from MENA — all united by a shared mission: better outcomes for cancer patients in our region.
Huge thanks to Oman Cancer Association for organizing such a thoughtful and collaborative event.”
