Farina Arreguin: Putting Childhood Cancer on the National Agenda Means Betting on Life and Equity

Farina Arreguin, Head of the Pediatric Oncology Service at CMN, November 20 ISSSTE, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Today I experienced a very special moment: I had the opportunity to present in the Senate of the Republic the Protocol of Medical Care for Early Diagnosis of Childhood Cancer for the First Level of Care. An infographic made by many colleagues with the same purpose.

Talking about childhood cancer is not just talking about a disease, it is talking about children who deserve to be heard, cared for and diagnosed in time.

Putting cancer on the national agenda means betting on life, equity and a future where no child is diagnosed too late.

Thank you to everyone who worked, AMOHP members!! Maga Zapata .. was achieved and especially thanks to Dr. Patricia Clark for her leadership.

Every step counts, and today we took an important one.”
