“After a year immersed in transforming cancer care in Albania, I’m in Vienna today for the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Scientific Forum 2026 – Rays of Hope:
Delivering on the Promise of Cancer Care.
Some of the questions I expect to shape the discussions in Vienna:
- How do we make world-class cancer care accessible, not just available?
- How do we turn advances in imaging, radiotherapy and AI into real outcomes for patients?
- How do we build cancer networks that outlast any single institution or individual?
- And perhaps most importantly – how do we move faster from good ideas to real implementation?
Cancer does not respect borders. Neither should knowledge, innovation or collaboration.
Looking forward to exchanging ideas with colleagues from around the world in the days ahead.”
