Equal access to justice for women and girls is fundamental to democracy, the rule of law, and sustainable development. Laws must not only guarantee rights-they must ensure that every woman and girl can effectively claim them.
I shared Albania’s progress in advancing justice reform, strengthening legislation on gender equality and violence against women, expanding free legal aid, and increasing women’s leadership across institutions, including the judiciary.
As Albania advances on its path toward the European Union, we remain firmly committed to building institutions that deliver justice equally for women and men, and to achieving measurable progress for women and girls.”
