“Honored to meet with Korinna Schumann, Federal Minister for Labour, Social Affairs, Health, Care, and Consumer Protection of Austria.
Albania highly values its long-standing and constructive cooperation with Austria in the fields of health and social protection, and expresses appreciation for Austria’s continued support in strengthening the Albanian healthcare system and advancing social inclusion policies.
The discussion also focused on potential areas for future cooperation, including the establishment of a new Health Cooperation Agreement for the period 2026–2030, as well as initiatives aimed at modernizing healthcare infrastructure through investments in emergency medical services, advanced medical technologies, and the reconstruction of regional hospitals.
Albania looks forward to further deepening its collaboration with Austria to enhance health services and social welfare for all citizens.”
