Eva-Maria Strömsholm: Honored to Join Working Group Developing Guidelines for Rare Ovarian Cancers

Eva-Maria Strömsholm, Co-founder and vicechair at Gynecological Cancerpatients in Finland, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“I am happy to be part of the ESGO–EURACAN–GCIG–SIOPe Guidelines working group and to represent ESGO ENGAGe and EURACAN.

The working group will collaborate to develop guidelines for non-epithelial ovarian cancers in adolescents and young adults.
I feel honored to have the opportunity to be part of this group together with highly knowledgeable physicians specialized in rare forms of ovarian cancer.

It is important that I, as a patient representative, also bring forward the patient perspective and share my thoughts and views in this work. I look forward to working close with this group over the coming year to help develop important and good guidelines.

Today we had our first meeting, and I immediately felt that there is positive energy among the participants.”
