European Cancer Organisation shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Sexual dysfunction affects an estimated half of all cancer patients in Europe and can remain one of the most unmet needs throughout survivorship.
At the same time, around 28% of patients do not discuss fertility preservation options with their healthcare provider, highlighting persistent gaps in pre-treatment counselling.
In the next Young Cancer Professionals Roundtable, the European Cancer Organisation and the European Society for Sexual Medicine (ESSM) invite you to explore how more consistent, unified approaches across Europe can
- support fertility and sexual health care for adolescents and young adults affected by cancer, and
- help reduce inequalities in access to timely counselling and treatment.
Join clinicians and patients for this important discussion.
