What Does the New President of the European Cancer Organisation See as the Organisation’s Most Imminent Challenge?

European Cancer Organisation shared a post on LinkedIn:

“What does Dr Isabel Rubio, the new president of the European Cancer Organisation, see as ECO’s most imminent challenge?

Take a look.

‘I believe that as an organization we have achieved so much in the last five years since the Euro beating cancer plan, but we need to expand that. So one of the main challenges that we have is with the new multiannual financial framework. So now we are in the midterm where the European Commission is working on that budget and I think we need to secure the funding for cancer, we need to secure the priority of cancer at the European Commission. Because we have achieved many remarkable progress, you know, in quality of life for patients, in access to screening, in so many things that we cannot stop here.'”
